SPECIALISED CHILD SUPPORT WORKER - WODONGA in WODONGA, Victoria

Lifestyle Centred Services is a client focused individualised disability service provider throughout Victoria and recognised for our extremely high level of service delivery to our clients. We specialise in supporting children who have special needs/medical issues.
We are seeking one or two support workers in the Wodonga area who has experience in the child care industry/disability or student nurse or equivalant experience or qualifications. The support worker will work with the child in the family home providing respite for the family. Specific training will be provided by specialised nurses into the care needs of the child who has medical/health issues.
Mandatory:
Ability to commit for a minimum period of 12 months
Current, satisfactory police clearance (or prepared to complete on-line application through Lifestyle to obtain a satisfactory police clearance).
Working with Children Check (or prepared to obtain)
Level 2 First Aid (or prepared to obtain with the first 3 months of employment)
On-going shifts:
Monday: 9am-3pm
Wednesday: 9am-3pm
Thursday: 8am-12.30pm
5.30pm-8.30pm
Friday: 5.30pm-8.30pm
Desired Qualifications:
Qualifications and/or experience in Disability, Aged Care or could suit student nurse or equivalent, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy or qualified nurse (backed with hands-on experience).
You will be energetic, self-motivated, committed and reliable.
