Role Overview As a key member of the Research Development team based in Wodonga site this role would ideally suit someone with strong problem solving skills and communication skills. Reporting to the Pilot Plant Manager you will work in the pilot plant facility which enables RD with analytical, prototyping and pilot-scale production capabilities. This includes all aspects of product design from innovation, through translation, to sustaining products within our APAC portfolio. Responsibilities Disassemble and reassemble Pilot Plant equipment, operate plant equipment, and collect raw materials, to meet the requirements of trials. Maintain the Pilot Plant facilities in a functional state with a high level of cleanliness and sanitation and also through low level preventative maintenance tasks. Follow MARS Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Participate in identifying and implementing Continuous Improvement activities that result in improved pilot plant processes and improved product developments. Utilize and maintain various Pilot Plant electronic databases and communication systems located in SAP, Nexus, S:Drive (Excel Word documents), Biosecurity database, and Microsoft outlook. Participate in audits as required by internal and external parties. Monitor consumable stock levels and ensure reordering requirements are escalated. Maintain Dept. of Agriculture Water Resources Biosecurity Approved Arrangements requirements Follow all safety procedures, quality food safety (QFS) procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs), for all tasks in the Pilot Plant and associated facilities, including Department of Agriculture Water Resources Biosecurity (DAWR) requirements. What are we looking for? 1+ years working in a food manufacturing environment Great interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop long term, effective and influential business relationships with multiple stakeholders.
