KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provide advice and report to relevant staff in relation to services and programs that are available to assist Aboriginal children and young persons before the Children s Koori Court. Provide assistance to Aboriginal defendants before the Children s Koori Court with their court outcomes and obligations. Identify and maintain a register of services and programs offered by local service providers with a specific emphasis on the needs of Aboriginal children and young persons. Liaise with Youth Justice Workers to assist in the development of offender management plans for Aboriginal children and young persons where appropriate. Educate the Aboriginal community in the operation of the Children s Koori Court and criminal justice system. Build, maintain and foster links between the Children s Koori Court and the Aboriginal community by raising cross-cultural awareness with stakeholders in the Children s Koori Court system including Aboriginal children and young persons an
